Heterocyclic Ring Transformation, 1,3,4-Thiadiazoles The synthesis and antimicrobial activity of a series of the title thiones were examined. Reaction of such thiones with hydrazonoyl halides, resulted in ring transformation to give 5-acylhydrazono derivatives of 1,3,4-thiadiazoles. The mechanisms of the studied reactions are discussed.
